Second Life Assessment and Pre-Processing

The goal of this work package is to assess whether used batteries can be repurposed for second-life applications, such as stationary energy storage. It involves developing advanced testing methods to evaluate the state-of-health (SoH) and remaining lifespan of batteries, along with protocols for safe and efficient battery deactivation. By maximizing the use of battery modules, this WP reduces waste and increases the value of end-of-life batteries.
